Turkish Duos: Pop, Folk & Jazz | My Analog Journal
Yesterday was a significant event of my life—my birthday—and boy did I forget how much I hate birthdays. I’m convinced every birthday after 21 is a complete waste of time and effort where no one has a good time but you’re forced to be thankful for everything around you. Maybe I’m just a prick, but I’d rather people forget the day than remember.
Nevertheless, above is a video from My Analog Journal featuring Turkish Duos involving Pop, Folk, and Jazz. As said from My Analog Journal, the video features some records that they got from Istanbul at end of the last summer. They specifically wanted to focus on the duo projects pressed on 45s such as Ertan & Funda, Meral & Zuhal, Akvaryum, Agri Dagi Efsanesi, Nejat-Reha Ikilisi, and more.
