The Sound of The Smashing Pumpkins – Billy Corgan | Amps & Effects
I’ve been a fan of The Smashing Pumpkins for as long as I can remember, especially their first four records. I’ve always dug their fuzzy and noise-rock infused guitar tones that have always been a euphorically pleasing melody from my perspective. Besides the number of records I’ve enjoyed from the group, I have a lot of respect for the band, especially for the innovative sound they did since their early beginnings in the 1990s. Above is a video featuring Billy Corgan and him detailing the sound of The Smashing Pumpkins while going over the amps and effects he primarily sought after during the band’s history.
