Temple Of Music – Independent Music from Western New York – 1996
I’ve always had an infatuation with records that seem to go under most people’s radar, especially albums that were released in the past that are a hidden treasure in today’s world. Recently, I had a thorough listen of Temple Of Music, an Independent Music compilation from Western New York in 1996.
I heard about this record ages ago in middle school from my friend’s dad who played in the group Hula. Hula’s track Kissbox Diesel is reminiscent of other groups from the 1990s such as The Pixies and Hole. Definitely give the record a listen, since there’s a lot of great hidden gems on it.
