A day doesn’t go by where I don’t listen to reverb-drenched music filled with echoing soundscapes, promoting a sense of ethereal inner soul searching. Much of that excitement has My Bloody Valentine to thank, a group who merged dissonant guitar arrangements, androgynous vocals, and irregular production techniques—pioneering shoegaze throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Today was a great day since a vinyl I ordered from My Bloody Valentine back in May arrived.
