The almighty Pitchfork has released their top 50 best albums of 2020 list. Given that Pitchfork has a particular amount of respect from people throughout the industry and fanatics of music in general, a list like this is always great to see for people who want to check out all-around great records. Plus, it’s useful for me as I’m compiling my top 50 list to release in a few weeks. Some of the records on Pitchfork’s list are fantastic, but there were a few that felt odd to be on it at all in my opinion. Still, music is subjective and most of these records are great so check it out:
