With Halloween around the corner, I felt inclined to take a closer look at various artists deemed disturbing or a part of a particular horror-genre of sorts. Upon my research, I discovered Pad Chennington’s video on the Top 13 Disturbing Albums on the internet. Of course, with the knowledge I was trying to find, this was the perfect video I was searching for.
I skimmed through most of these records, and have been a fan of Swans, Daughters, and The Caretaker for a number of years now. It’s always fascinating to see interesting music genres and how the musicians in them invoke music we’re typically not used to. Experimentation is always a good aspect of anything, especially in the music world.
