Nucleus – Alleycat (1975)
I can’t get enough of these random music recommendations that pop up on my YouTube. Though YouTube and Google are generally thought of to not be ideal companies, at least their algorithms can recommend what you like (that’s a sarcastic optimistic take if you couldn’t tell).
Regardless, above is Alleycat from the British jazz-fusion band Nucleus. The band continued in different forms from 1969 to 1989 and won first prize at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1970. Alleycat is their 1975 record, the ninth in their discography, and is great to listen to all the way through. Check it out!
