Live Music Recommendations #7 – Mac DeMarco – Live at Primavera Sound 2017
At this point, it’s challenging to think about how much I miss shows. Outside of just my overall want and need to play a show, there’s an equal interest to attend one as well. Rather than focus on this upsetting reality, we can only focus on moving forward and when it can be safe again to attend and play shows.
This Live Music Recommendation features a performance by Mac DeMarco. DeMarco has garnished a lot of respect and interest from me since his 2014 record Salad Days. Musically, DeMarco implements a fusion of elements from genres such as indie rock, psychedelic rock, and folk.
This 2017 performance at Primavera Sound is one of my favorite live concerts from DeMarco and any artist in the modern indie rock genre. Be sure to check it out and give DeMarco’s discography a listen if you haven’t already.
