Turnstile has emerged as one of my favorite groups over the last few years, especially with their latest release Glow On. The way a hardcore group combined elements of hardcore with dream pop is something I haven’t seen before in the genre. It’s certainly not the most innovative record by any stretch of the imagination but what it does add experimentally is immaculate.

Glow On is a record that not many bands are willing to pursue. It executes its lighter sounds of dream pop with hardcore in such a refreshing capacity. I absolutely love where Turnstile is going and can’t wait to see where the group takes off next. Above is VCR style recording of their show the other day from Clifton Park in Baltimore.
