Live Music Recommendations #49 – Gary Clark Jr. NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert
As I’m sure you’ve read multiple times on this blog already, I can’t get enough of NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concerts. I watch one every day, with some days causing me to endlessly watch performances from artists I never knew existed before.
My father got me into this concert series years ago and I’m glad he did. There’s nothing I love more than watching a stripped-back and intimate performance of songs that are normally much more out-front and intense.
For this live music recommendation, I have the magnificent Gary Clark Jr. and his Tiny Desk Concert from a few years back. If you love anything blues or want to hear all-around great musicianship, Gary Clark Jr. is definitely the route to go with. Definitely check it out!
