Amazing Record Stores – Sonic Boom in Toronto, ON
I’m currently having the time of my life while on tour with SPACED for Like Pacific’s Control My Insanity Tour. Every band rules and nothing is better than ripping gigs and exploring the cities around them. Last night, we had the pleasure of playing at Hard Luck in Toronto, and of course, I had to check out a record store.
I’ve heard good things about Sonic Boom in Toronto and decided to make the 15-minute walk from the venue. Boy was I pleased. The intimidation of having to thoroughly look through a record store of that magnitude is a sense of overwroughtness I didn’t expect.
Though I didn’t take as long as I would’ve liked, I can say Sonic Boom is one of the best record stores I’ve ever been to. The upstairs is curated nicely for recent/popular releases while the downstairs is organized perfectly with records in alphabetical order in their respective genre. I can’t wait to go back!
